About Founder

 

Kiran has been in legal practise for the last 13 years in the corporate and commercial practice group.

 

She has handled and advised upon various local and international corporate and commercial transactions in areas such as joint ventures, licensing and regulatory compliance, service and management transactions, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment and corporate advisory. 

 

She has the experience of advising clients within regulated industries in sectors such as direct sales, payment systems, e-money, capital market, communications and multimedia, construction, moneylending, pharmaceutical products, aesthetic businesses and many other sectors.

 

Given her clientele, she has previously engaged with authorities such as Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

 

She also had a short but meaningful stint of approximately 2 years as a litigator. The experience in litigation adds to her abilities to provide legal advisory for corporate and commercial matters as she is able to foresee the potential legal pitfalls to avoid for corporate and commercial transactions.
